Philosophy:

We are dedicated to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own pace.  We believe that children need to have a positive self-image.  We foster that image along with their developmental growth in the areas in intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills, through a variety of group activities, individual play, and quiet periods.  Our program makes use of many play and learning materials that help the children gain confidence in their abilities to do and make things.  We have an open door policy for parents.  They are welcome to visit anytime.

Program Highlights:

We believe that children learn through their play.  To foster this learning, we have many centers set up in the playroom such as housekeeping and dress-up, painting areas, large toys such as blocks, lego, cars and trucks, puzzles, drawing, quiet corners for reading, etc.

We also go outside to various playgrounds and parks every day to help develop large and small muscles.

Once a week the daycare travels to a community story time.

Other highlights include such things as going to the petting zoo, exploring new playgrounds, going to the water parks.

Learning activities are pursued based on interest and seasons such as visiting a nursery and planting, and studying bugs.  We believe in integrated learning and seize the moment learning.
